| | | | | | | | | Executive Summary: | | Bid specifications for the purchase of 100 computers were posted on the ProcureNow app from OpenGov. Invitations were also sent out to past bid vendors. Twelve (12) vendors responded to the bid.
Funds in the total amount of $100,000 are approved in this year’s Technology Replacement budget for the PC hardware purchase. This purchase will replace current outdated computers.
The lowest responsible bid received for the Lenovo computers was from Y&S Technologies, Brooklyn, NY, for $89,350. All bids were reviewed for accuracy.
Upon review of the bids, it is our recommendation to award the bid to Y&S Technologies, Brooklyn, NY, for the total cost of $89,350 for the purchase of 100 replacement computers. | | Recommended Action: | | The Village Manager recommends the Village Board award a bid for the purchase of Lenovo computers to the lowest responsible bidder, Y&S Technologies of Brooklyn, NY and approve issuance of a purchase order in the amount of $89,350. |
