Thank you for your interest in Schaumburg Village Board meetings! Regular meetings of the Village Board are held at 7 pm on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month in Russ Parker Hall at the Robert O. Atcher Municipal Center. Members of the public are welcome to attend.

The Village Board uses a consent agenda for its meetings. The consent agenda is comprised of recommendations that have been advanced by 7 standing committees. These standing committee meetings are open to the public and held at regularly scheduled dates and times. Standing committees review items in detail and allow the members to discuss items, reach consensus, and make non-binding recommendations to the full Village Board. Because the items advanced by standing committees have been fully discussed at the committee level, recommendations are generally not subject to further deliberation at Village Board meetings. However, an elected official, staff member, or member of the general public may request that an item be removed from the consent agenda for further discussion. If there is such a request, the item can be removed from the consent agenda and discussed under committee reports.

A.Recommendation to Approve Modifications to Therapeutic Mental Health Services Delivery Model
 - [motion] to recommend the Village Board approve the modifications to the village's therapeutic mental health services delivery model and direct staff to explore the disposition of the property at 17 E. Schaumburg Road.
B.Recommendation to Approve the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) 2023 Action Plan Amendment
- [motion] to recommend the Village Board approve the 2023 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Action Plan Amendment.
III.Transportation Committee
A.Recommendation to Proceed with Implementation of a Roundabout Design at the Intersection of Braintree Drive and Weathersfield Way and Amend the Existing Agreement with Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc.
- [motion] to recommend the Village Board authorize the Village Manager and Village Clerk to execute an amendment to the existing agreement with Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc., to proceed with implementing a roundabout design as a part of Phase I Preliminary Engineering for the Braintree Drive Reconstruction Project at the intersection with Weathersfield Way in the amount of $314,321, and approve the required Resolution.
B.Recommendation to Authorize Participation in the Sourcewell Cooperative Purchasing Program and Award the Purchase of Nine Single-Axle Truck Chassis
- [motion] to recommend the Village Board authorize participation in the Sourcewell Cooperative Purchasing Program and award the purchase of nine (9) single-axle truck chassis in an amount not to exceed $1,380,960 in FY 24/25.
C.Recommendation to Approve Waiver of Competitive Bidding and Award Rebuild Services of a 2012 Pierce Fire Engine to MacQueen
- [motion] to recommend the Village Board approve waiver of competitive bidding and award rebuild services of a 2012 Pierce fire engine to MacQueen of Aurora, IL in an amount not to exceed $550,000.
D.Recommendation to Approve Change Order No. 2 for the Purchase of Motor Fuel with Petroleum Traders

F.Recommendation to Approve an Agreement for the Storm Sewer Outfall Improvements at Cedarcrest Drive, Buzz Aldrin Elementary School, and Jaycee Park - Construction Administration Services with Clark Dietz, Inc.
